The Soulukli wetland covers 4/ha area, which is located within high altitude of closed forest of Bayli-Kuh mountain in the NW of Golestan National Park, Iran. The new scientific reports imply that this wetland has been covered by Artemisia and Ephedra plant species approximately 450000/year ago. It seems, this incident has occurred due to intensive reduction of human intervention or effective climate change. It is also, voucher of proper habitat for circa 76 plant species. Among of them, six species allocated and growing merely in this wetland. At the same time, the new species of freshwater fairy shrimp (Chirocephalus Soulukliensis Rogers & Soufi 2013) has been discovered in this wetland. The point is, usually this marsh encountered by the dryness during summer season, therefore, the fairy shrimps lie down or release their eggs within the bottom debris of the wetland. The new study signifies, if the wetland dry out about 3000 years, thereafter, shrimp‘s eggs capable to recover themselves readily by initial or adequate rain. Likewise, solitary and truly aquatic spider also lives in the Soulukli wetland, its origin related to the European countries. So, the soulukli marsh is easternmost of its habitat in SW Asia, Iran.
